5.2.2 Exercise Selection – Exercises that go to make a session

So, you have set your goals for your program. Now to actually create the program, but how shall we begin?

Well we will start small and build up.

A basic format to start with shall be a weekly program. This is a program that will repeat every week in exercises and slowly increment in weight.

The first step is to decide on how often you want to train. Also at this point you need to consider all the other influencing factors. A more comprehensive guide for what you need to consider is included at the end of this unit in 5.2.7.

So you have decided how often you can train. How do you now structure a training session?

Structure

  • Warm up
  • Priming exercise
  • Lift
  • Pull
  • Squat
  • Warm Down
